Does the following "mean anything to anybody:
Sep 24 07:30:26 mail sendmail[2928]: HAA02927:
to=<grampa48@axxxxd.net>,
delay=00:00:01, xdelay=00:00:00, mailer=local, stat=Can't create
output: Error 0
Sep 24 07:30:26 mail sendmail[2928]: HAA02927: HAA02928: DSN: Can't
create
output: Error
0
What all incoming mail is creating getting this error. Outgoing is fine.
There is loads of disk-space, Perms have been loosend to 777 on dirs due
to qpopper
error so that shouldn't be a factor. Ownership is right. Actuall file
exists with the
right perm and owner.
A seemingly related error is this from qpopper:
Fri Sep 24 10:38:01 1999 [2175] Unable to open temporary maildrop
'/usr/spool/mail/.grove456.pop': Permission denied (13)
Fri Sep 24 10:38:01 1999
Fri Sep 24 10:38:01 1999 [2175] grove456@ma3.axxxxd.net: -ERR System
error,
can't open temporary file, do you own it?
Fri Sep 24 10:38:01 1999
This should explain the perm thought.
System is PII running slink. 8.8.9 running for months. Rebooted for some
reason
and then this.
TIA for help.
