My OpenSSH is the default binary package that comes with Debian. I
didn't know it has been compiled with that option. I guess IPv4-only
boxes won't run OpenSSH without it.

(and guess what, I'm a IPv6 newbie, too)

Thanks, I may consider recompiling the package.
