-6 means create PF_INET6 socket and by default you can communicate throught
such socket with ipv4 client/server (using ipv4-mapped ipv6 addresses). If you
want to allow using _only_ ipv6 addresses on such socket you need USAGI patch
for your kernel.

It won't. Try ssh -6 ::ffff:ip.v4.add.ress
