Probably yes, you do, as the most current versions of Itanium do not
have x86 'emulator' built in.
I think any Itanium 1 or 2 CPU older than Montecito (Itanium 9000) will do.
I could be wrong, but I am certain about Itanium 1 (Merced) which is
the CPU I have.
