cannot build kernel
Hello,
I have installed Debian/woody on a rx5670. Now I want to recompile the
kernel. I have installed kernel-source-2.4.22, applied the ia64 patch
from kernel.org and have have been warned that my binutils are too old.
After upgrading binutils and gcc to the testing version I get the
following error message:
gcc -g -O2 -Wall -D__KERNEL__ -I/usr/src/kernel-source-2.4.22/include -DKBUILD_BASENAME= print_offsets.c -o print_offsets

How can I fix that?
Thanks,
Torsten
Thanks for the good work on porting Debian to ia64!
