strange, really strange.
I tried another pc and Firefox 27.0.1, and the diff was shown. No problem what so ever. Started translation some extra package descriptions and with one of them (gir1.2-gtksource-3.0) the exact same problem occured.
Tried Debian Wheezy again with Iceweasel 24.3.0 and same problem again, non of the package descriptions show the diff.

Well, the ddtp-ng does attempt to recognose fuzzy
translations and would suggest the previous translation.
That doesn't really help with the differences though.
All I can suggest is using the links to the diffs at the
bottom, like this one:

It gives you and indication of the
differences. I suppose the software could better deal with
