Please translate the program and/or manpage strings of APT
Dear Debian I18N people,
I would like to know if some of you would be interested in translating
Debian's beloved package-manager apt and it's associated files.
Many of these strings are included in the associated library and
you and our users will therefore encounter them even without ever
having used (or heard of) apt-get, and instead see them for example
in aptitude, synaptics or even software-center.

As you see, we have a variety of program translations already,
but some collected quiet a bit of dust and might be in the
need of a new translator to clean them up.
[the "last-revision" is the PO-Revision-Date from the po file]
Beside the program translations we also have a multitude of manpages
managed by po4a which recently went through d-l10n-english:

Keep in mind that these are not just strings but quiet often whole
paragraphs. The respective team/last-translator will get also a
"translated per manpage" report. The hidden message behind
this is that we happily accept partial translations from present as
well as new translators. So yes, just translating e.g. apt-get.8 is fine.
[In case anyone wonders: it and pt_BR are what we got from an
automated conversion 3 years ago nobody picked up so far …
they will be removed if nobody does it this time ]
Please send the updated file to me, or submit it as a wishlist bug
against apt. If you have any questions feel free to drop me line.
There is no direct deadline, as I am thanks to some personal issues pretty
late to the party and therefore take responsibility for talking the release
team into freeze exceptions for translation updates if needed.

Alternatively I can sent you the files directly, it just happens frequently
