In my experience of many other projects, this is one of the best-run i18n efforts around. In key areas, like adopting new gettext features (msgctxt, msgid-previous) to help translators, notifying translators of updates, providing a Pootle server and contributing to its development, and reviewing the standard of the original strings, Deb18n leads the field.

We have some wonderful people here, who achieve a great deal largely in the background.
