How to do an NMU?
Hi,
After waiting for a long time on updated packages, with patches, to
emacs and gdb for GNU/Hurd I think it is time for NMUs.
The patches are minor, but crucial for the function on GNU/Hurd!
emacs23.2+1-7: #610576 filed 20 Jan 2011. No response from the
maintainer.
gdb7.1-1: #579834 filed 30 Apr 2010. No response from the maintainer.

the requirements for an NMU seems to be fulfilled.
Do you need a sponsor for the build and upload? I'm not yet able to sign
the packages I build. It would be better to get the patches applied and
let the buildds do the job.
