Did you have any problems with sysvinit?

I have been trying the http method. It does not seem to work properly
via a squid cache:

huey:~# apt-get update
Hit http://ftp.au.debian.org unstable/main Packages

direct access is OK:

fsck.ext2 to fix ext2 errors, try again...]

You might want to run `apt-get -f install' to correct these.
Sorry, but the following packages have unmet dependencies:
bsdutils: Depends: sysvinit (>= 2.59-2) but it is not installable
E: Unmet dependencies. Try using -f.

I think I will have to play around with my status file to fix this.
