I am behind a ZyXEL ISDN router using SUA NAT (equivalent to masquerading),
but as I said, I can download from the same mirror using an ftp-program on the
same hurd-system. The problem is the same for all mirrors, I try. In Linux on
the same machine, I use apt-get with ftp without problems. When I set up
dselect for ftp, it asks me, if I want to use passive mode (standart: yes),
but I have also tried without passive mode with the same result.
