When you have a texinfo file you can then convert it to html, ascii
text or whatever you want.

Take a look at the grub info file. Mainly you have to do this:

Install the debian grub package and setup /boot/grub/menu.lst properly
(as in the floppy disk).
Run 'grub' from command line and issue:
    root (hd0,0)
    find /boot/grub/stage1 (do this if you don't know which is the
                            root partition containing stage1)
    setup (hd0)            (to install on MBR)
    setup (hd0,0)          (to install on the partition)
