I just tried to reproduce that bug but could not with 2.6.14-rc2-pa2 on a
dual 750Mhz J6700.

I ran both rsync / --> /mnt and /home --> /mnt/home.
Both completed without errors or other hiccups.

I'm inclined to agree with James about FP register usage/saving
being the cause of the XFS problems.
