Re: Problem compiling kernel at 64 bit



Sorry for that, the /cvs/ is where you can get the latest kernel from, if
you goto /unofficial-debs/ and download the gcc-hppa64 and binutils-hppa64.
Then goto ftp://ftp.kernel.org/pub/linux/utils/kernel/modutils/v2.4/ and
download the modutils for 2.4.19 and compile then "./configure, make, make
install.

Download the kernel from the cvs directory and then follow the instructions
from:

http://www.parisc-linux.org/kernel/index.html ignoring the parts about the
cvs retrieve.

Please note that I now think the above tools are in either the testing or
the unstable debian tree, so you could reconfigure you sources tree for
apt-get and download them that way.
