I've now come a little further !

Unfortunately I now get the message :
"file:/instmnt/debian/pool/main/d/dhcp/dhcp-client_2.0pl5-6.2_hppa.deb was
corrupt"

I have tested the downloaded iso with "md5" - shold I download an earlier
version ??
