It appears that the hppa list has been subscribed to a Yahoo Mailing list.

A couple questions:

  1) Did someone on the list accidently subscribe the list when they
     meant to subscribe themselves.
     
  2) Do we each send a complaint to Yahoo, or should that be limited
     to the list administrator?  (I assume something like abuse&yahoo.com,
     but I don't find info on that at their site.)
     
  3) I suggest we each call our local ERA office, explain to them that
     a member of their organization is behaving improperly, and explain
     that *our* next house purchase will *NOT* be with ERA because of
     it.  Request that they raise this concern up their levels of 
     management that spam will hurt, not help their business.
