Re: Scorpio Jr. Installation report

Hi
Please try this work-around:

Do a manual boot - boot xxxxx IPL

Using the built-in editor to change:
console=tty (however it is set )
to
console=ttyB

That by-passes the "crator-on init_console" call.

The boot should continue until it ends with "unable to open vitual terminal" -
which may only mean a missing /dev and/or /etc/inittab entry.

If you find a way to get past the "unable to open..." message - Please let me know.
