probably a ghc-dyn package. Or even multiple libghc-base-dyn,
libghc-containers-dyn etc. packages built from ghc, so that users of
python-hopenpgp would not have to install the shared libraries of, say,
the ghc package¹

Alternatively you can try to find out what it takes to build these pic.a
files so that you can link statically. Aren’t we already building with
PIC?
