James, would you think you could make lambdabot more configurable? For example, I’m not sure if a Debian-local installation of labmdabot needs the misfortune feature, and the misfortune packages comes with data of unclear copyright (e.g. https://github.com/mokus0/misfortune/blob/master/data/normal/bash). But then, there is already forutnes-mod in Debian, so it might be ok.
