Yes, it would be a good idea. The same thing would be good also for gitit itself: libghc6-gitit-dev now depends on gitit, because gitit contains the data. This dependency could be relaxed if the data were split out in a separate package. Anyway, I didn't do that when I made gitit, because I was primarily concerned with getting it into squeeze. As soon as it's fully installable again, I'll ask again to the release team to include it.
