Group maintainership?
Hi all,
Has the group considered group maintainership of haskell related
packages? This would mean that all packages maintained by the
group would be maintained in a central repository (the Ocaml
people are in the process of transitioning from svn to git) and
if needed, allow anyone in the group to step in and fix a packaging
problem.
Having been involved a little with the debian-ocaml-maintainers
group I found that the group maintainership approach worked very
will for them. IMO it also lowered the barrier of entry for newcomers
to join in and contribute.
Opinions?
