A binNMU means re-building something on a buildd (i.e. an auto-builder), so that does not help us there. > I could build it myself, but then I'd also have to build all other libs. > I'm assuming that the presence of a binary ghc6 in experimental would > mean amd64 soon will catch up with i386 in number of available packages, > right? Unfortunately, not. The amd64 auto-builder is down because it crashes. It happened while building ghc6, but that just uncovered the issue, and until the problem has been identified and fixed, the auto-builder will be down, so it won’t build other packages either. The only solution is to buy kaol and amd64 machine and have the auto-builders build i386 packages :-) /me is waiting for amd64 packages as well... Someone could set up a private repository in the meanwhile to allow those on amd64 prepare new versions already – any volunteers?
