Hello Jaime:
I *technically* could build packages myself, however, my goal is
to help other hams migrate into non-proprietary OS and
applications. Asking a new ham venturing into our software to
build their own packages just invites potential negative
experience. I also think this package is important, like FLdigi,
or hamlibs. Therefore, I really wanted to seek out someone who
can build these binaries for future linux ham newbies to be able
to easily install without the burden of building from source.
Thank you for your help! You guys are amazing.

Hello,
What about building the package by yourself?
We (me) could sponsor your package ;-)

Hi all:
I've been using aprx the last few years, however, a newer
package is required by igates. The problem is that this
package is broken and won't run on my long term support OS's..
I just downloaded the latest Mint xfce and tested it there
with same broken results.
It would sure be a great asset I think if one of you guys
could possible adopt the package and make it functional on
debian/ubuntu systems again.
Thanks, 73
