Re: calling up scripts
Actually, I like to put my local startup scripts in
/usr/local/etc/init.d just to keep them seperate from the system files.
It's not likely that a Debian script name will start with local-*, but
by keeping them segregated, I know where my files are and I know that
install scripts won't touch stuff under /usr/local
