    Greetz John,

Since you are already a network guru, I would recommend playing with Jnos. It
is where I actually started using linux commands back in the daze when I
*did* have a windoz box and ran that code.. It is an
ftp/http/converse/bbs/smtp/pop3 client *and* server all rolled into one
increadible little package. It has the ability to tunnel radio packet traffic
through the internet and back.

I don't know if there is any working sound card packet packages, but I know I
found one decoder for 1200-9600 baud packet that was pretty neat.

Don't give up on the code either. I originally just learned 5wpm years ago to
stay ahead of my wife, but ended up finding cw more then just a challenge, it
was fun!

enjoy and 73

ftp pc.louisiana.edu then look around in /pub/ham/jnos
