I read both the Debian BTS and the upstream Bugzilla. I read your
discussion with upstream about this.

All I was saying is that I *thought* the bug was fixed in vte 0.11.x
because I read you said so in the comments for Debian bug #190378:

"Yes this bug his already filed in #183035 (Why are uou opening another
bug report ?) and also already fixed by upstream in CVS."
                       ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

My conclusion is that you thought it was fixed because you saw it marked
as such in Bugzilla, but then you tried yourself and it didn't work, and
then you engaged in the discussion we can all see in Gnome Bugzilla.
