This bug is still here at least for me. The first gnome-terminal
launched doesn't remove his entry in utmp :
$ who
marillat :0 May 7 08:45
marillat pts/0 May 7 08:45 (:0.0)
marillat pts/1 May 7 08:45 (:0.0)
marillat pts/2 May 7 08:47 (:0.0)
marillat pts/3 May 7 17:19 (:0.0)
marillat pts/4 May 7 17:00 (:0.0)
marillat pts/5 May 7 15:09 (:0.0)
marillat pts/7 May 7 19:26 (:0.0)
marillat-~
$ ls /dev/pts
0 1 2 3 4 5
7 is the gnome-terminal entry.
