I've got /apps, but no desktop under this (I did nuke my ~/.gconf* this
morning, so I'm assuming that folder/values under it wasn't recreated?)

I thought of firing gconf up this morning, but I remember a dialog box
popping up along the lines of "Sorry, you cant edit this, this isn't
implemented yet" when I found something.
