Re: GDK_USE_XFT causes apps to hang for a while before starting
Fixed this by running fc-cache as the user. This seems broken, though...
shouldn't fc-cache get run by the appropriate postinst script? and why should
each user have to run it? In any case, I got it to work for me, but I think
this may still need some investigation
