It will automatically remove those RC bugs from consideration, yes,
although you still have to wait for the other problems I mentioned on
debian-release recently, and xscreensaver is out of date on m68k due to
the aforementioned gcc problem anyway.
Of course, please only do this if you're absolutely sure that the bugs
apply to both versions.
