Dude. Sheesh.

Every single GNOME 2 user is a user of GNOME 1! Galeon, Evolution, etc. The
G2D release replaces *only the desktop components* and does not provide
migration/integration with GNOME 1 settings and such.

I just read the lengthy thread in response to my process email now (I've
been overseas at the Boston GNOME Summit), and will write a response to most
of it soon.

I just find this whole thing very strange. I'm used to really sensible,
researched, user-oriented decisions from Debian, and I'm just not seeing
them here.
