Yes, that's what I was thinking about, but I'll check if hadess' idea
will produce better results for users.

hmmm... I did compile the one from experimental, which is the one
I have installed on my laptop (which runs unstable) and I've been
running the gnome-panel2 package I compiled to woody for many hours
now and have not had this problem... any other person is experiencing
this problem?
