That's a good point. On the other hand, galeon depends on
mozilla-browser, so if you want a minimal system, you might just want
to have mozilla installed.

"Easier to use" is a relative term, and mozilla is much more
reconfigurable than most people realize (or care:). Plus, it's
well-supported on more platforms; people with a heterogenous mix of
workstations might want to use mozilla on all of them for consistency.

Basically, I think we should do what we can to encourage the use of
galeon with gnome, but we should stop short of forcing people to
install and use galeon if they prefer mozilla (or even something
else).

Therefore, I think the gnome task should include galeon, but
gnome-moz-browser should probably depend on "galeon | www-browser".
(Or, perhaps, depend on www-browser and recommend and default-to
galeon.)

No doubt. On the other hand, one of the advantages of Gnome over KDE
(IMO) is its greater flexibility. I can (at least in theory) use any
of several gnome-compliant window-managers, mail-readers, etc. Having
a default is good. Having a restriction is bad. I think galeon is a
good default, but it shouldn't be a requirement.
