Wow, that sounds like a next-generation cross-platform dhelp plus net docs!  Very
cool!

I think I like dhelp for now because it brings in all of the registered docs on the
system, and is in place now, in woody, and earlier releases too.  Maybe there will
be a doc-base to OMF converter and scrollkeeper register to replace dhelp in the
future, but I don't think scrollkeeper will have lists as comprehensive as dhelp
until then.  So I'm still willing to do the patches I described, if package
maintainers are interested, though perhaps I should wait until the GNOME 1.4
packages arrive...
