OK, forget about the xkb messages. I get them with startx and xdm as
well.
The interesting thing are the two other lines. What is this
//.esd_auth thing? I thought esd is the sound daemon.

Could you mail me the new contril file. I want to make the change to
the staging as soon as possible.
