About getting new podman releases into bullseye-backports

Hello eveybody,

Here is my very naive question as I don't know well how Debian maintainers work and decide things.

Is there any plan to get new podman releases into bullseye-backports?

Motivations:

There are interesting additions in last releases of Podman, making it more compatible with Docker CLI, better support for the kubernetes pod YAML format, and other things. I tried to compile v3.2.3 version as an example (only podman, no newer dependencies, on bullseye), seems to works fine. Didn't try to build v3.3.0 at the moment.

Getting recent versions of podman, as it is still a bit young and continues to improve to support all the features of docker, could be very helpful to get production grade deployments of services through podman as an alternative to docker.

Anyway, thank you for all the great work you all provide for Debian. :)
