Package: libc6
Version: 2.3.6-7
Severity: normal
Hallo,
since last glibc update the rational rose license manager produces the following
error message at startup:
./rational: relocation error: ./rational: symbol errno, version
GLIBC_2.0 not defined in file libc.so.6 with link time reference
Is there any workaround for this problem?
Cheers
Martin

Hi,
Hi!
thank you for your efforts.
Due to missing log files (dropped before somebody at
our company noticed the problem) I cannot state which
was the last working glibc version. But testing on
two other Debian machines shows that the Flexlm vendor
specific part of Rational Rose seems to be very buggy.
I got several segmentation faults. In theory upgrading
to a newer version is no option, but I download some
trial software from IBM Rational. Though is not related
to the software used at our system, it includes a newer
version of the problematic licensing manager which
works fine.
Because it seems to be a bug of the Rational software
I would suggest to close the bug.
Ok, closing the bug with this mail.
