Bug#298896: Xlib: sequence lost in reply when running "eclipse" through "lbxproxy"

Package: libc6
Version: 2.3.2.ds1-20

My-Application: eclipse
My-Application-Version: 3.0.1

# export DISPLAY=:55
# lbxproxy -display 172.16.210.1:0 :55 &
# /opt/eclipse/eclipse

Application freezes when executing commands described before.
I get the Xlib error message like:

Xlib: sequence lost (0x10000 > 0x2f0d) in reply type 0x1!
Xlib: sequence lost (0x10000 > 0x2f0e) in reply type 0x0!

It happens when I drag and drop an item (hello-world.java) from
the left objects bar, to the right window area for editing.

I tried the same sequence of commands in another Linux distribution
and I had no problem. Then I tried to replace all the libraries of XFree86,
libz and all dependencies, but it continues giving the same error.

One library that I did not replace was the the libc.
I suggest that it is the problem.

I am using Debian GNU/Linux 3.1, kernel 2.2.20-idepci, kernel 2.4.29,
libc6 2.3.2.ds1-20, Eclipse 3.0.1, j2re1.4(1.4.2.01-1) and
java-common(0.22).

fred.-
