Testing the hppa build of glibc-2.3.1.
Make chroot, populate, setup.
Put my patches into ./debian/patches, frob 0list.
dpkg-buildpackage -b -rfakeroot

...
checking for gcc-3.2 option to accept ANSI C... none needed
checking how to run the C preprocessor... /lib/cpp
configure: error: C preprocessor "/lib/cpp" fails sanity check
make: ***
[/root/glibc-debian-cvs/glibc-2.3.1/hppa-linux/configured-source] Error 1
...

Seen this before?

Note, this system has no cpp, but it has cpp-3.2 :)
I don't know what crack this thing is smoking...
