You've already reported this to the libc6 developers and I've just
answered that report. Please keep the discussion there, Zack gets
automatically a copy of all reports via libc-gnats.
It seems to be that this is a real bug in glibc 2.0.7 which is fixed
in the current glibc 2.1.1 pre-release that I'm running.
