I wasn't actually the first to come up with that openscenegraph fix: it 
appears to have been independently found three times, by Alberto Luaces 
(Alioth and upstream), myself, and Dmitrijs Ledkovs (Ubuntu).

Before uploading qgis, you might (if you haven't already) want to take a 
look at my possible fix for #729495, and check whether #734136 still exists.
