I very happy with all these logos! It's very good to have options.
What about some wallpapers (idea)?

I plan to start working on tests for building a CDD or a Live-cd (using
Debian Live) for Debian GIS these week. Since I finally got a new PC 
on my lab with a big HD :-)

Well, the idea is still alive! hehehe...

Well, the page is updated. The new design incidentaly solved two
issues raised by Hamish: the harsh contrast between letters and the
swirl and the i dot lookin as a marker on the planet... which might
not have been so bad.

Again, your comments are deeply anticipated.
