For the Mollweide, could the b,a,n letters of "debian" have a 1 pixel
white/grey border? (feathered to grid layer?) Having the swirl logo
right against it makes it hard to read and looks slightly harsh,
especially the red swirl.

Does it look better if you keep the "i" dots red for the grey version?
Just the "gis" dot red? (looks like a marker on the planet that way)
