I have build a gdal-1.3.1-package for sarge recently, but I am afraid I made lots of mistakes regarding the debian-policy. The package installes cleanly, but referes to my own GRASS-CVS-debian-packages. Probably you could grab the sources and rebuild on them?! Grab them from here: http://www.gdf-hannover.de/holl/debian/dists/sarge/main/source/ http://www.gdf-hannover.de/holl/debian/dists/sarge/main/binary-i386/ If anybody else could have a look at them and lead me to build proper packages, I would like to learn!
