Dans le paquet samba-doc, il y a un fichier nommé 
/usr/share/doc/samba-doc/examples/printing/smbprint

Le début du fichier est :

#!/bin/sh 

# This script is an input filter for printcap printing on a unix

# uses the smbclient program to print the file to the specified
# smb-based

# For example you could have a printcap entry like this

etc ...

Ca se sert de smbclient pour imprimer.
