Well, I would say the questions are: * how long do we want the package names can be * how descriptive do they need to be I think ttf-dzongkha-jomolhari would make more sense, in case other fonts for dzongkha follow. Then again, the currently available font packages are not very descriptive either. One has either to skim through the whole list to find a font which is usable for the language the user wants to display based on the long description, or has to use debtags, hoping that all font package maintainers have tagged their packages accordingly, or has to use apt-cache to search. So, another question arises: do we want to change the existing font packages, too, or leave them like they are and make the policy only for new packages? Another possibility would be: leave the existing ones like they are nad make metapackages named after scripts, which contain a list of possible candidates which cover the script. Example: ttf-chinese would contain all the ttf-arphic-* packages, ttf-korean would contain the unfonts and baekmuk packages, etc... More input on this?
