I think digest mode also has a footer + info where to unsubscribe.

If people are so dump, they don't know how to unsubscribe, one gpg
header/footer more doesn't change anything. there are ~10000 posts
without gpg sigs here, and enought documentation when you join the list
and on the web page. pointing to this is a weak excuse imo

first, why should your client automatically connect when it sees an
unkown key. I would turn that off first.

why not? why only debian-security? is others so different? should we not
all have gpg keys and eventually encrypt our mails when sending to each
other?
