Your signed key has been sent to you encrypted with the key.
I use Thunderbird with the Enigmail add-on (which makes use of GnuPG) to decrypt and read such e-mail.
Once decrypted, the e-mail's attached signed key can be saved to a file and this file can be imported to GnuPG.
