Hi,

Due to (lucky) late breaking events, Open Country (OC) will be sponsoring
the Installfest at Linux World. We are asking local LUGs, free software
organizations, distros, and interested parties, to participate.

Open Country is also running the Installfest and we are trying to get distro
representatives to participate and we would love to have someone from
Debian there. So far we have Ubuntu, OpenSuSE, Xandros, and Linspire and
I'm contacting other distros.

I know it's a late request. We stepped in to help IDG since the Fedora
group ran out of bandwidth and dropped out.

For the Installfest we are asking distro vendors to supply any or all of:
- Installfest participation at booth
- An expert to answer questions on the distro for an hour at the Installfest
(trying to put together a rotating schedule)
- CD's
- Swag / prizes / gifts for volunteers for the Installfest and/or the same
for
Installfest prizes; T shirts, Boxed retail versions, swag....

Also, it would be great if there could be issued a press release on this

Any help is greatly appreciated.

BTW, OCP, OC's provisioning server is setup to provision Debian and we can
always use direct contact with the source to answer questions we may have
also.

Hope to see you there.
