The problem there has been the same for about 5 years: it needs to get
into mainline first, only then can we 'turn it on' in Debian. The
Debian kernel people are (understandably) not at all keen on
maintaining out-of-tree kernels.
We have tried to get it into mainline but its an astonishingly slow
process.
